Welcome to CompassCare Connect. These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and our platform. By accessing our site, clicking "Book Now," or registering an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using the platform.
CompassCare Connect provides a marketplace technology platform that connects independent caregivers (including nannies and elder care specialists) with households seeking care services. We provide the infrastructure for booking, scheduling, and payment processing, but do not provide the care services directly.
Users must be at least 18 years of age. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your profile. Accurate information is mandatory; providing false contact details is grounds for immediate termination of your access to the platform.
We take trust seriously. Every caregiver profile listed on CompassCare Connect has undergone our background check process, which includes identity verification and criminal record screening. While we maintain high standards, CompassCare Connect does not employ the caregivers. They operate as independent contractors.
All bookings must be processed through the CompassCare Connect platform. Our hourly rates are transparently displayed on each caregiver's profile. Payments are secured via encrypted processing. We charge a service fee per booking to maintain platform security and vetting operations. Off-platform coordination to avoid fees is a violation of these terms.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service start time will incur a 50% service fee charge to compensate the caregiver's blocked schedule.
Zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or unsafe environments. This applies to both users and caregivers.
Service is provided "as is." CompassCare Connect's total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount of service fees paid to us in the six months prior to the incident. We are not liable for the conduct of caregivers during actual service delivery.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Atlanta, Georgia.
